FINALLY...A NEW POST

Okay so I have definitely been slacking on posting on my blog! I am going to make an approach to keep an updated blog. The summer has just flown by. So many exciting things have happened since my last post. Joey's new venture of riding pleasure horses has greatly expanded. We recently rented an indoor arena with 15 horses stalls for the winter months. We have done some major cleaning and re-arranging but it is looking great. We have a little more work to do but plan moving horses in next week! We are super excited along with our clients. We have 4 families currently (5 horses in total--1 family has 2 daughters which equals 2 horses)! We are planning on accepting some outside horses just as boarders no additiional training at this point just because we are committed to our current clients and our full time jobs and of course our BOYS!!

Jack is super excited about starting back to school in 2 weeks. Preschool begins after Labor Day. He got a new John Deere book bag so things are awesome in his eyes. He has the same teachers as last year, Mrs. Baker & Mrs. Howard whom he loves. He will attend preschool on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Jack continues to be busy on the farm and is looking forward to a fun, filled harvest of riding in the semi and the combine.

Jhett is busy as usual. He can not sit still for one moment. He changes everyday. He is starting to say more words such as bite, bye, momma, dadda, baby, gabby, jack. Gabby is a young girl at the babysitters. Jhett has gone back to his babysitter, Leslie's this fall. He is only change is that he is going there all day Tuesday thru Friday. Jhett loves the horses and has zero fear of anything. Which is very scary for mom at times but I just close my eyes and let him do his thing!

My work continues to be very busy with catering large events. My employers dad has been very ill and intensive care in Indianapolis for the past 6 weeks. He is struggling with some lung, heart and breathing issues. We continue to pray for him and wish nothing but the best for the Shoup Family. We are preparing for a large catering event next week for Beck's Hybrids for Thursday, Friday and Saturday we will feed approximately 6,000 people over 3 days. September is filling up quickly with Purdue events and ending with a big event in Indianapolis called the Indy Breast Cancer Walk for 1000 people for a Saturday (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and Sunday (breakfast & lunch)! October is going to be a full month with Purdue Homecoming festivities along with a new event from Fastenal for 2000 people 2 days in a row then I am taking a vacation!! Our family is headed to the QH Congress to show some horses. We are super excited. Joey will be showing in the Senior Western Pleasure. The Clark girls will be showing in their respective age divisions in a variety of classes. We will be there for about 10 days! It will be a well deserved rest!

Well enough blogging for today! I am sure we will have new posts as soon as my new neice arrives...counting the days!
